Chamber Lets Its Hair Down During Open House

By -

The Chamber of Commerce held its annual Open House which featured dozens of local businesses in a “table top” style expo scattered throughout different floors at their Broad Street location. Area businesses donated several door prizes which attendees were eligible to win by having their access cards punched on each floor.

The event culminated into a migration to the 4th floor of the Chamber office for the After Hours festivities. A catered buffet and multiple stocked bars awaited Chamber members and guests along with a prepped dance floor and DJ. Terry Haywood was behind the mic spinning up tunes from today and yesteryear. It didn’t take long for him to coax the ladies onto the dance floor where the men quickly followed.

Some remarked during the evening that for one night at least, the Chamber of Commerce’s 4th floor challenged the library as the coolest fourth floor space downtown.
