Social media, the often talked and sometimes misunderstood phenomenon, now it has its own day. Mashable has designated June 30 as Social Media Day – a day to celebrate the revolution of media becoming social. Here in Chattanooga the following events are planned with Social Media Day in mind:
- The monthly Center for Entrepreneurial Growth and the Business Development Center luncheon will feature a presentation by Jon Moss of Moss Media Labs entitled “Digital vs Traditional Marketing: Time To Rethink Everything”
- Social Media Club presents “An Evening With Guy Kawasaki”. John Martin, host of Small Business Roundtable will be live casting his show from The Camphouse and talking with Guy about his new book entitled “Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions”. Guy will be taking questions from the audience via Skype after the interview. The event is free, but registration is required.
- Social Media Day Mixer sponsored by LifeKraze will kick into gear immediately following the Guy Kawasaki session at The Camphouse. Join the LifeKraze crew in celebrating the day with interactive fun, networking and libations.
